The China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition General Cooperation (CFTE) will join hands with the Qionghai Government to construct the Boao International Exhibition Centre and Cultural Industry Park, according to an agreement signed at the 8th PPRD Regional Cooperation and Development Forum on Thursday.

The project has been listed as one of the 17 key scenic spots and holiday resorts in Hainan.

With the benefit of influence from the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), Bo’ao is a well-known destination for meetings and conferences. The project aims to take full advantage of BFA’s international influence in order to promote the development of the exhibition industry.

Under the plan a high-level exhibition center will be built in Bo’ao, in accordance with the construction of Hainan International Island. The exhibition will focus on displaying high-end products.
