Campsites proves hit with self-driving tourists in Sanya during holidays
The four free campsites provided by the Sanya government in order to create a safe and smoothly running tourism environment have proved a hit with tourists who have travelled to the city.
The four campsites are located at Jinrun Pearl Museum, No.9 Primary School, Sanya Teachers Training College and Sanya Sports Stadium.
Statistics have shown that over 100 tourists have visited the campsites in the last few days, with the majority hailing from Jiangxi, Guangdong, Guizhou, Heilongjiang and Chongqing. The number of visitors travelling from other provinces is expected to continue to rise over the next few days of the festival.
The 4 campsites are equipped with a comprehensive array of sanitary facilities such as showers, toilets, laundry and kitchens to ensure guests can enjoy their stay.
Many campers have said that they have found the campsite and its facilities convenient and comfortable. In addition to the safety of the campsites, they have also praised the local government for their attention to detail and the high standard of conditions.
Aside from this, the Sanya law enforcement authority will be strengthening inspections on self-driven tours and camping activities at Dadonghai, Sanya Bay, Yalong Bay and at other key areas. Any camping activity taking place in public places violating the rules of the campsite will be stopped.
