The tourism zone received crowds of visitors during the holidays.
The Nanshan Culture Tourism Zone, one of the national 5-level National Scenic Spots, has witnessed the arrival of 6,000 tourists on the first day of the National Day holiday, an increase of 58% from the same period of last year.
The statistics showed that Nanshan has received more than 900 vehicles carrying tourists setting off from Guangdong, Guangxi and other neighboring provinces. Besides this, many individual and family islanders were also seen arriving for a holiday visit.
On the first day of the holiday Nanshan Temple, Nanhai Guanyin Statue and vegetarian Buddhist food restaurants turned out to be the most popular hits among tourists.
