To improve the quality of Sanya travel services and create a smooth path for the travel sector’s development, Sanya is launching overall inspections on the tourist service sectors and crack down on any unqualified tourist practices.

According to the Sanya Price Control Bureau, special focus will be attached to the potential tourist problems including cheating tourists discovered in the tour packages and shopping tours offered by the travel agents.

Meanwhile, regular inspections will be launched by the bureau to crack down on illegal price hikes in the fields of restaurants and shopping that seriously harm the legal rights of tourists and damage the image of Sanya City.

To establish a long-term effective supervision system to perfect tourism market, relevant departments will also joint hands to strengthen supervision on scenic spots and other service centers and will expose tourist companies and agencies that have violated industry rules or cheated customers.
