Xiaodonghai Bay,is a newly built recreational resort in Sanya, located only 5 kilometers from the downtown centre. The marine zone is one of the state-level Natural Reserve of Sanya ratified by the State Council of China.

Inspections made in recent years indicate that the water quality of the marine zone ranks as some of the finest in the world and is home to over 600 different aquatic creatures. The marine area is home to some of Hainan’s most dazzling scenery, featuring beautiful coral, tropical fish and all sorts of weird and wonderful creatures, it is truly a feast for all the senses. The dazzling, soft sandy beaches and the pristine structures along the coastline make for a truly authentic and natural experience.

Currently two companies, Global Diving and Xinxiang Diving offer a variety of recreational activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, deep sea diving, glass bottom boat rides as well as guided boat tours of the area as well as many more exciting and adventurous activities.

If the ocean is not for you then you can always enjoy the clear blue waters of the South China Sea at the natural pool area located inside the park, or choose from a wide variety of aquatic sports on offer. Or for a completely different pace, simply indulge yourself at the beach pub, where you can relax and enjoy the music, try the delights on offer at the BBQ, or perhaps take a little nap in one of the various hammocks tied between the coco palms and enjoy the gentle breeze.
