Cruise tours to Xisha Islands officially kicked off on October 3rd after 5 months of trial operations since this April.

The four-day voyage to the Xisha Islands with over 160 Chinese tourists onboard the Coconut Princess, which is the only the only cruise ship allowed to sail there, departed from Haikou Port at 3:25pm.

After landing on the Xisha Islands, tourists will be guided around the 3 major islands of Yinyu Island, Quanfu Island and Yagong Island, as well as enjoying the sunrises over the sea, visiting local fishing villages and sampling fresh, locally sourced seafood aboard the ship.

The 4-day cruises are priced between 4,200 yuan and 19,800 yuan. There are special requirements for tourists who want to take the cruise ship, specifically that they are only mainland tourists aged between 18 to 60 and in good health, of a normal weight and with no history of heart disease, are to be allowed on board.

There are 4 cruise routes to the Xisha Islands this month, which run on the 3rd, 11th, 18th and 26th October
