Hainan tourism spots to lower ticket prices during National Day Holiday

Hainan is to lower the ticket prices for tourism attractions across the province during the upcoming 2013 National Day Holiday, according to the Commodity Price Control Bureau of Hainan province,
Tourism spots who implement government-set ticket prices are required to lower the ticket prices by 20 percent during the holiday. While tourism spots who implement market-oriented ticket prices will decide the descending percentage of their ticket prices by themselves.
All tourism spots in the province must display their ticket prices and the percentage of descending during the holiday.
Tourism spots violating the regulations will be punished according to the law.
Hainan commodity price control department said they have also launched price control measures for hotel rooms in cities including Haikou, Sanyan, Wanning and Qionghai to ensure fair room rates during the holiday.
