A travel agency in Anhui province launched a new travel route to the Paracel Islands (Xisha Islands) in May. The first group tour may make the departure on June 14.

This travel package lasts five days with a cost of over 10,000 yuan ($1,632). By far no tourist has showed any interest.

As introduced, the group tour will leave from the city of Haikou, the provincial capital of Hainai province, and then take the Coconut Princess cruise by passing through the Cape of Mulan and Seven Islands in the city of Wenchang, Hainan province. Finally, it will arrive at the Yongle Islands in the Paracel Islands.

Tourists expect to see sunrise over sea, visit local fishing villages and enjoy meals on Quanfu Island.

The Paracel Islands are located in the west of the South China Sea and consist of over 30 islets. The islands have been open for tourists since 1997.
