The prices for Hainan tours including Haikou tours and Sanya tours have been sharply reduced by 50% after the Chinese Lantern Festival

According to a manager of Hainan CYTS, the 5-day Hainan tour was priced at RMB 2,000 to 3,000 during the Spring Festival travel peak, but now it has dropped to around 1,000 yuan.

The Director of Kangtai International Travel Server Co.Ltd Cui Yuan said that their high-end tourism products had declined by a range of between 40% and 50%, and the low and middle-end products declined by 30% to 35%.

This also can be seen in the overseas tours. The quotation for the 5-day Hong Kong or Macao tour was 3,988 yuan during the holiday period, but now it has decreased to 2,488 yuan, down 60%.

In addition, the tour to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries was quoted at 4,380 yuan during the holiday, but now the price has returned to 3480 yuan, with a decrease of 30%.
