Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Naruthai Petsuwan as the new Chef De Cuisine for Baan Rim Nam restaurant.
 
Chef Naruthai Petsuwan (everyone likes to call her Chef Sai) is from the Phang-nga, one of the southern provinces (changwat) of Thailand and has over 10 years’ professional experience in international five star hotels, from Asia Pacific to North America and Central Europe.
 
Before going to Sanya, Chef Sai was a chef at Fairmont Dubai Hotel Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa and Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa in Thailand. Chef Sai’s cooking career started at Phuket Resort & Spa and Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa in Thailand, and she later moved to Idaho in the USA.
 
 She and her team will focus on the improvement and innovation of cooking technique and are good at integrating local ingredients to create an unforgettable Thai-style dining experience for guests. 
 
Having more than 10 years of rich experience in luxury resorts, she has a group of chefs and kitchen staff working under her at the Baan Rim Nam restaurant.  Baan Rim Nam, which means “House by the Water”, is a Thai restaurant offering popular dishes from all regions of Thailand.
