Sanya Serenity Marina achieves highest Gold Anchor Rating

Mr Chapman said the Club was entering the ranks of Gold Anchor marinas from around the globe. “Sanya Serenity Marina has achieved the highest possible rating, 5 Gold Anchors, for its excellent facilities and services. It joins an elite group of marinas that have achieved this prestigious status, including Jumeirah Beach Hotel Marina Dubai; IGY Rodney Bay Marina West Indies; Palmarina Bodram Marina Turkey; Soldiers Point Marina Australia and Keppel Bay Marina Singapore.”

Sanya Serenity Marina is the first Gold Anchor marina in Hainan. The marina has 325 berths and a large hardstand serviced by a 100 tonne travelift along with extensive club member facilities.

In presenting Mr Gerard Hua, Managing Director of the marina with the accreditation, Mr Chapman said “Gold Anchor marinas are independently audited and in this instance the auditor commented:Sanya Serenity Marina management and customer service is offered at the highest possible standard. As a result the marina is a most suitable flag bearer of 5 Gold Anchor standards in China.”

The MIA delivers Gold Anchor accreditation exclusively across the Asian region. MIA recently signed an agreement with The Yacht Harbour Association based in London to deliver the International Gold Anchor Marina Rating Scheme to marinas across the globe. The Gold Anchor Rating Scheme has been devised to encourage the development service standards at marinas and to promote rated marinas to the boating public.
