Dongfeng Race Team leaves the Malacca Strait and enters the Singapore Strait in first place, some 80nm ahead of nearest competitor Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing.
 
Charles Caudrelier’s crew are currently leading the fleet, sailing east towards the South China Sea, where they will head north towards their tropical destination of Sanya.
 
The Chinese team now need to hold their nerve for a few more days as they navigate this testing stretch of water, and sail out into the final stretch with one thing on their mind – a home win.
