The 2014 Hainan Rendez-Vous’s first stop in the Europe Press Conference and Investment Fair was held during the Monaco Yacht Show on the morning of Sept. 25. At the conference, China Visun signed a deal appointing Singapore-based media group Blu Inc as the media representative for 2014 Hainan Rendez-Vous, as well as signed deals with a host of leading global super yacht design and construction firms. After the event, Hainan Rendez-Vous’ host China Visun, Yacht Club de Monaco, and the heads of several yacht brands including Heesen Yachts, Martello Yachting, Asia Yachting and Amels, held an in-depth discussion on various issues including the development model of the global yacht economy and promoting marine environmental causes.
Every year, the world-renowned Monaco Yacht Show attracts premier luxury lifestyle brands in the private plane and private helicopter sectors, in addition to exhibitors from across the entire luxury yacht sector and, for this reason, the organizing committee of Hainan Rendez-Vous decided to hold the World Press Conference and Investment Fair at the event. China VISUN chairman Wang Dafu said in an interview, "Using this annual event as the cornerstone, Hainan Rendez-Vous’s mission is to lead the high-quality lifestyle and redefine the high-end lifestyle in China."
The 5th Hainan Rendez-Vous will be held at the Sanya Visun Royal Yacht Club from March 27 to March 30, 2014. Organizers of the event will create a new "Super-Yacht" theme pavilion, a venue designed to help China Visun integrate and optimize its existing resources and continue to improve China’s high-end island tourist industry chain. In addition, China Visun has terminated its partnership with Yayuan Exhibition Service (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the firm led by Delphine Lignieres.
Wang Dafu said, "We aim to transform Hainan Rendez-Vous into an internationally renowned lifestyle showcase, providing a platform where international brands can more easily and seamlessly tap into the Chinese market. We have reached letters of intent with several leading exhibitors for the 2014 event and we plan to continuously perfect Hainan Rendez-Vous with each year’s event."
