Puma Ocean Racing wins thrilling Leg 5 of Volvo Ocean Race
Puma Ocean Racing has won a thrilling fifth leg of the Volvo Ocean Race.
After more than 19 days at sea, Puma and overall race leader Telefonica could only be separated into port in Brazil by 13 minutes.
The four other boats aren’t even on the water with Team New Zealand’s Camper and French boat Groupama have suspended racing while they repair damage while Sanya and Abu Dhabi earlier pulled out of the leg.
Camper’s expected to complete repairs and get back on the water this evening.
