Sunshine Insurance Group Co Ltd has donated 2 million yuan ($299,045) to Hainan Charity Foundation to help rebuilding after the province was battered by heavy rains from the start of October.
 
Meanwhile, the insurer set up a special team to provide a speedy service for policyholders in Hainan. So far, the non-life insurance arm of Sunshine Insurance Group is expected to pay 3.2 million yuan in claims.
