Sanya set to prepare new port for Volvo Ocean Race 2011-12

Sanya, as one of the stopover ports for the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-12, has been fully preparing the new port.
At present, the land parts for the constructions including athletes reception center, and commercial facilities are completed. According to the arrangement, the stopover port is estimated to be finished by July.
This offers a good opportunity for Sanya and China as a whole to show the world its marine future as well as its rapid development as the only stopover port in Asia for the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-12, Knut Frostad told the media reporters.
