Haikou to add 120 new public bicycle rental outlets across the whole city
According to the Haikou government, 120 public bicycle rental outlets will be added across the city as the number of local residents and tourists renting bicycles is increasing, reports xinhuanet.com.
The public bicycle rental service began operation in January 12, 2011, with first 4 rental outlets in the pilot areas.
As more and more local residents are demanding for more public bicycle rental outlets, the government is planning to expand the coverage to other areas including Jiari Beach, Wanlvyuan Garden and major roads.
At present, the plan of 120 new public bicycle rental outlets has been submitted to relevant departments for final approval.
