All eyes were on Kate Hudson’s pins at the premiere of her film Clear History. After the birth of her second child two years ago, she devoted six hours a day to exercise.

‘I would do 45 or 55 minutes of cardio then an hour of Pilates or yoga, three times a day,’ says Kate, 34.

WHAT TO TRY: Gym ball hamstring curls tone the backs of the legs. Lie on your back and with your legs extended, press your heels into the top of a gym ball.

With your arms on the floor beside you (palms down), lift your hips off the ground and tighten your abdominal muscles. Then pull the ball slowly towards you with your legs until your feet are flat on it.

Keep your head, shoulders and back on the floor. Slowly push the ball back to the start position with your feet. Repeat 12 to 15 times.
