2013 World’s Strongest Man competition to be held in Sanya
The 2013 World’s Strongest Man competition will be held from Aug. 17 to 24 in Sanya, a coastal resort city of South China’ s Hainan province, according to the press conference on Wednesday.
Thirty strongest men from different countries and regions in the world, including Russia, the USA, South Africa, Lithuania, Latvia and China, will participate in the 8-day competition with 5 qualifying rounds and the finals, according to the organizing committee.
The strongest men will compete in the following matching events, such as keg toss, Astra boulders, yacht pulling, car lifting.
Originated from the USA, The World’ s Strongest Man competition has been held annually since 1997 and first held in Sanya in 2006.
