Secrets of an A-list body: how to get Kristen Wiig’s legs
The actress’s toned, bronzed pins are set off to perfection in her white outfits
She turns 40 next month, but actress Kristen Wiig displayed toned legs that would rival those of women half her age at a recent screening for her new movie, Girl Most Likely.
So how does the Bridesmaids star keep her pins in such good shape?
‘I do a lot of walking,’ she says. ‘I have a treadmill at home, so I try to go on that for an hour at a time.’ She also runs, cycles, works out with a trainer and does a yoga class once a week.
What to try: Hamstring curls are a fabulous way to tone the legs, particularly the back of the thighs.
Lie on the floor with your heels resting on a large exercise ball. Raise your hips off the ground so that your body forms a straight line from shoulders to heels. All your weight should be on the shoulders.
Keeping your body still, bend your knees to draw the ball into your buttocks, using your feet. Straighten the legs to push the ball away again.
Repeat 12-15 times.
