The Sanya government is planning to invest RMB46.61 million in building a mass art center, and the foundation laying ceremony was held on May 29th.

The mass art center has a total construction area of more than 6,000 square meters, 6 stories high.

The center will consist of a multifunctional conference hall, an exhibition hall, an intangible project exhibition hall, electronic reading room, children’s activity center, rehearsal hall, an art information archive and a database.

The mass art center is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
