A-list body secret: how to get shoulders like Yasmin Le Bon
Pictured on a fashion photoshoot recently, Yasmin Le Bon looked barely older than her 23-year-old daughter Amber.
Yasmin displayed perfectly toned arms and shoulders in the pictures taken for High Street chain Monsoon.
Although the 48-year-old mother-of three used to follow a gruelling daily exercise schedule of martial arts and cardio, she has scaled back her regime.
But she still devotes plenty of time to fitness and does Pilates.
‘When I’m cooking I’m always doing squats and lunges while waiting for the pans to boil,’ she says.
What you can do: The shoulder press is a great exercise for toning the arms and shoulders.
Hold a dumb-bell or bottle of water in each hand and stand with feet hip-width apart.
Bend your knees slightly and reach your arms out to the sides at shoulder level.
Bend your arms upwards to 90 degrees, and keep your trunk stable.
Breathe out and push the weights up until your arms are almost straight above your head, but not locked.
Breathe in and lower the weights back to the start position (with elbows bent). Repeat 15 to 20 times.
