Women’s ASP Longboard-World to take place at Riyuewan Bay
The World Longboard Championship takes place in the "Land of the rising sun" for the second time!
Hainan, widely known as "Hawaii of China", hosts the world`s best female wave riders to crown their World Champion.
Sun, waves and tropical vegetation plus the Crème de la Crème of longboarding – this is the guaranty for a unique event. Among top stars like Kassia Meador (USA) and Lindsay Steinriede (USA – reigning World Champion) also local rider Darciu Liu (CHN) and the French shooting star Ophelie Ah-Kouen (FRA),who has Chinese origins, compete. Both are able to fight for the title.
After the impressive premiere last year, the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) guests at China’s surfer’s paradise, near the City of Wanning, for the second time.
The Women’s ASP Longboard-World Championship from November 21st to 25th 2012 take place at Riyuewan Bay on the Island of Hainan and the winner of the Girls Pro China will also be crowned as the 2012 Women’s Longboard Champion.
