The 2012 Hainan Danzhou International Marathon is set to kick off on December 15th in Danzhou city this year.
 
The tournament is now in its 3rd year, the first being in 2010. To improve the quality of the tournament, the organizing committee has adjusted the race route, which now shows the scenery of the best road sections to the public.
 
The game will begin at 8:00 am and consists of a full marathon (42.195km) and Mini marathon (5km) races.
 
The event is jointly organised by the Chinese Athletic Association, Hainan Provincial Culture Radio, Film and Television Publication Sports Department and Danzhou Municipal People’s Government.
 
Marathon race route:
Square in front of the building of Danzhou People’s Government→ Zhongxing Avenue → Turning point→ Industrial Avenue →Renmin Road → Lanyang Road →Zhongxin Avenue→ Beibu Gulf Avenue →Turning point →Zhongxing Avenue→Lanyang Road →Haichang Road →Cultural Road→ Yuandi Road →Industrial Avenue →Zhongxing Avenue →Turning point →square in front of the building of Danzhou People’s Government (end)
