According to relevant departments, 23 playgrounds in Sanya have been equipped with outdoor exercise facilities to encourage physical activities among the public.
 
The outdoor exercise equipment for public use can be found throughout parks, streets and other public areas.
 
In Sanya, Mangrove Tree Reserve Park is crowded with people exercising every day utilising more than 85 various kinds of facilities there.
 
As of now, the city has invested nearly 4 million yuan on the construction of public outdoor facilities to encourage people to pick up a healthy lifestyle.
