UK’s fattest teen Georgia Davis fights for life with fruit diets
On the mend … Georgia Davis
BRITAIN’S fattest teen is winning her fight for life following doctors’ treatment — and her parents feeding her fresh fruit.
Georgia Davis, 19, was said to be in an improved stable condition last night in hospital, where she was being treated for ailments related to her 63-stone weight.
The Sun told last week how Georgia had to be cut from her bedroom by rescuers.
Mum Lesley, 57, and stepdad Arthur Treloar, 73, have been feeding her fruit at Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. And doctors have put her on a 2,000 calorie-a-day diet.
Georgia, of Aberdare, South Wales, suffers from diabetes, kidney failure and spine, joint and skin ailments. But she has received a flood of calls from well-wishers. A pal said: “You can just see the support from all the letters she’s had. We really want her to get through this.”
