According to the news briefing of the First Sanya International Rose Festival on 2nd May, Sany Jiyang County will strive to develop the rose industry, constructing “Yalong Bay International Rose Valley” in the following few years.

Lying next to the highway and Yalong Bay resort, Jiyang County owns advantages in transportation and location to develop the rose industry, said Zhang Weilan, the Party secretary of Sanya Jiyang County.

Yalong Bay International Rose Valley, a coalition of processing, tourism, entertainment, leisure, exhibition and education, has become the most characteristic rose-themed cultural base in China, as well as a charming name card of Jiyang County so far.

In order to promote the rose industry in Jiyang, a total of RMB 3 million has been invested to the Damao village and Baopo village.

The capital aims to help 150 farmers plant 500 square kilometers of roses, making Jiyang County to take the lead in Sanya’s rose industry.
