Birkebeinerrittet China 2010 Ends Successfully

It’s really sunny today, and the temperature is getting to 26 — 28 centigrade. It’s 9:00 o’clock in the morning, whole participants group getting together at the start line in front of the Yakeshi Municipal government, heading for race! Everything under control, race gets started at 9:30 as scheduled. Right following the leading car, the whole long riding line is drawing their picture on this breathtaking platform. Comparing with the track of last year, one stiff downhill part around 10k has been taken away and some extensions have been set equally instead, with less water and mud, which is good for participants for sure.
The referees are waiting at the finish line, getting all IPICO timing system done. At around 10:25, the first guy, Jinglong Duan from Daqing, comes to our vision and becomes the first place of 26km with the result of 01:05:04. Seventeen minutes later, the first lady of 25km, Liping Song, becomes the winner with the result of 01:22:15. Congratulations! With the participant’s finishing of 25km one by one, the first guy from 50km group, Kuanjie Feng, (who’s also the champion of Genghis Khan MTB, July) finally appears within our expectation in result of 02:11:18. What an exciting thing that he will go for Birkebeinerrittet in Norway, as best Chinese male rider. Worthwhile for mentioning, he’s also the lucky guy for last year! For women part, Ying Lin, a girl from Shanghai has been the other lucky one with the best result—02:57:05 of 50km. Let’s wish them every success for their unique Norwegian Birkebeinerrittet journey!
