Haikou invests RMB4.7b for renovation project of Qilou Street
The Haikou government has worked out plans to renovate the Qilou (arcade buildings) Street in its downtown area, a street with multi-story building integrating Chinese and European architectural styles, reports xinhuanet.com.
According to the government plan, the city will invest 4.7 billion yuan to upgrade Qilou Street, covering about 121 hectares. The renovation project will preserve the original layout of Qilou Street.
