The LPGA Tour, China Golf Association and International Management Group announced Wednesday that the Blue Bay LPGA will be played in October on China’s Hainan Island.

 

IMG Golf will operate the event set for Oct. 23-26 at Jian Lake Blue Bay Golf Course.

 

The 81-woman field will include 15 China LPGA Tour players. The $2 million event will be the fourth stop on the LPGA Tour’s six-tournament Asian Swing that opens with the Reignwood LPGA Classic in Beijing.
