Hong Kong teenager Isabella Leung, pictured, will play in her first professional golf event this week when she competes as an amateur in the Mission Hills World Ladies Championship on Hainan.

Leung, 18, who attends the University of Hawaii, will tee up in tomorrow’s first round at Mission Hills Haikou against a star-studded lineup led by world No1 Park Inbee, China’s Feng Shanshan, defending champion Suzann Pettersen and South Korean So Yeon Ryu.

Leung said: "I am grateful to Mission Hills and the Hong Kong Golf Association for this unique opportunity and can’t wait to learn from the best female players on the planet."
