Yalong Bay Golf Club

For children looking for something fun to do in the summer vacation, this could be the perfect opportunity to take up golf as the Yalong Bay Golf Club has announced that all junior golfers under the age of 16 can play there for free between July 15th and August 31st, 2013.

Fees for use of greens, caddies, carts and even service charges will be waived for junior players with golf handicaps of below 40 on the course. Those who don’t meet the handicap requirements can still enjoy free access to the driving ranges and golf clubs.

Co-organized by the Beijing Reignwood Culture Foundation and Yalong Bay Golf Club, the program seeks to foster junior golf, in light of the fact that golf will be an event in the 2016 Olympic Games.

Yalong Bay Golf Club has long-since been an active promoter of the junior game in China and has been involved with a number of initiatives to bring the world’s leading players, instructors and events to China. The club has been the venue for the Sanya Ladies Open since 2010.
