Hosted by the Haikou Municipal People’s Government and the Mission Hills Group, the 2011 Haikou Golf & Tourism Forum will kick off on 19th March in Mission Hills Resort Hainan in Haikou, Hainan province.
 
According to the organizing committee, more than 350 guests including famous politicians, leaders of international golf and travel organizations, experts, golf industry leaders, and golf stars will be invited to participate in the forum.
 
The forum will focus on six topics. Topics include the world’s golf industry trends, golf industry and the development of international tourist island of Hainan, golf and Olympic strategy, and the path for developing China’s leisure industry.
 
Besides, several awards including the “Best Chinese Player of the Year”, “Lifetime Achievement Award”, and “Best New Player of the Year” will be selected by the Golf Association.
