Hainan Airlines Company is set to launch regular non-stop flights on Hefei-Singapore route on August 29, with travel time of about five hours and 20 minutes.

The new service is the first mid-long-haul international flights at the Hefei Luogang International Airport.

The Hefei-Singapore flights will be operated twice a week using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Outbound flights depart Hefei every Wednesday and Sunday, while return flights leave Singapore every Monday and Thursday.

Round trip on this new route will be priced between CNY1,500 and CNY1,800.

The new service is expected to meet local demand for travel in Singapore as it cuts travel hours and costs.
