Sanya Romance Park, a cultural tourism park in Sanya, has received nearly 400,000 visitors since it opened to the public on September 15th. 

After more than 500 days of construction work beginning in April 2012, the first phase of the project is another attempt by the Sanya government to combine culture with tourism. 

In the park, The Legend of Romance, an art and dance performance showcasing the colorful multicultural history of Sanya City, stages daily at the Sanya Qianguqing Grand Theater and has become a popular site for tourists during their stay in Sanya. 

To offer more cultural and entertainment activities for tourists and local residents, other scenic spots such as Elephant Valley Wildlife Park and Ice Snow World are scheduled to open in 2014.
