A total of more than 300 art works are being displayed at the 2nd Sanya Art Season,which was officially held in Huayu Resort & Spa Yalong Bay Sanya.
 
The opening ceremony of the 2nd Sanya Art Season was officially held in Huayu Resort & Spa Yalong Bay Sanya on December 6th 2013, and a total of more than 300 art works are being displayed at the event.

According to the organizers, the 2013 Sanya Art Season International Contemporary Art Exhibition consists of four major parts, including a contemporary art theme exhibition with a theme of “Encounters”, an individual artists' works invitational exhibition, an emerging artists’ works exhibition and a Modern painting masters’ works exhibition.

The 3-month contemporary art exhibition event has invited dozens of heavyweight artists from home and broad to bring art lovers in Sanya a series of art lectures and interactive activities.

In addition, it is also worth mentioning that the evaluation and award ceremony for the Sanya Art Season Huayu Young Artist Award will be held during the event, in a bid to encourage emerging young artists to explore new areas of contemporary art, two cash prizes of 200,000 yuan and 100,000 yuan will be presented to the winners.
