The 2013 ChinaJoy Cosplay Carnival is to be held at the Hainan International Exhibition and Convention Center in Haikou from March 22 to 24.

The Carnival will open at 17:00 on March 22 and run until 17:00 on March 24, and closing time is 21:00 every day. The opening ceremony will be held at 10:00 on the morning of March 23.

The three-day carnival for both fans and those professionally involved in animation will feature various cosplay competitions including the World Cosplay Summit 2013, ChinaJoy Cosplay Contest, Cartoon Competition and a Cartoon Stars Meeting.

Among them, the World Cosplay Summit (WCS) is an annual international cosplay event that promotes friendly international exchange through Japanese pop culture, and the cosplayers with high scores in Haikou will have chances to represent Chinese team in the WCS.
