Hainan Week Exhibition opens at Yeosu Expo 2012
The Hainan Week Exhibition opens on Sunday at the China Pavilion at the Yeosu Expo 2012, which will run till July 17th under the theme of ‘The Living Ocean and Coast’.
On the day, the Hainan tourism delegation made a soft opening of the Hainan Week which introduced the development of Hainan International Tourism Island to visitors across the world.
The Hainan Week Exhibition at the China Pavilion is arranged into four key areas: the pre-show featuring many performances with Hainan traditional flavors, the exhibitions of intangible cultural heritage such as the Li People’s brocade techniques, a themed video screening the depths of the connections of the Hainan people with their seas and oceans and a tourism promotion conference.
A total of 11 Chinese coastal provinces participated in the Yeosu Expo, among which Hainan is China’s largest ocean province.
