5th Sanya Int’l Orchid Show kicks off at Luhuitou Square, Sanya
On Jan 8, 2011, the 7-day 5th Sanya International Orchid Show kicked off at the Luhuitou Square, Sanya.
The orchid show covers an exhibition area of 12,000 square meters, attracing more than 30 exhibitors from home and abroad including Thailand, Malaya, Singapore, Hongkong, and Japanese to display their orchid plants for visitors.

A total of 15 orchid display areas have been set up for the show, including rare orchid plants area, orchid-related artwork area, photography area, handicrafts area, and flower arrangements area.
With its increasing influence and successful host, the international orchid show has become one of major events in Sanya and serves as a good platform to promote the development of orchid industry as well as tourism industry of the city.
